Italian Burgers

Deluxe White Sandwich Buns


  • 1 package Aunt Millie's Deluxe White Sandwich Buns
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, minced
  • 1/2 c. parmesan cheese, grated
  • 24 mini mozzarella cheese balls
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. marinara sauce
  • 4 slices lettuce
Yield: 4 Servings


  1. Preheat grill or medium pan over medium heat.
  2. Gently combine first nine ingredients (excluding buns) and shape into 4 patties.
  3. Grill patties over medium-high heat for 7-8 minutes per side until desired degree of doneness.
  4. Meanwhile, heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.
  5. Top each bun with a slice of lettuce, a burger, and desired amount of marinara sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.
