Breakfast Bagel

Plain Bagels


  • 4 Aunt Millie's Plain Bagels, toasted
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 8 slices ham, thinly sliced
  • 4 Tbsp. low-fat mayonnaise
  • salt
  • pepper

Yield: 4 servings


  1. Mix eggs, milk, and a little salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Place egg mixture in a medium skillet and cook until set. Divide into 4 equal portions. Top each portion with cheese.
  2. In a separate pan, fry the ham until lightly browned.
  3. Spread 4 bagel halves with one tablespoon of mayonnaise.
  4. Place two slices of ham on bagel with mayonnaise, and top with a portion of the egg. Top with the second bagel.
  5. Can be prepared ahead and kept in a warm oven.
